Cheese of the Month

It will come as no surprise that our selection for cheese of the month is a Stilton. While Stilton is one of Britain’s best known cheeses, it is only made by six producers. Of these, the co-operative in the village of Colston Bassett, Nottinghamshire, is one of the smallest. It takes its milk from five farms located within in one and a half miles of the dairy, some of whom are shareholders in the business.

We source many of our artisan cheeses from Neal’s Yard Dairy who will be with us tomorrow (Saturday 3rd December) for our Christmas Tasting Day between 10am and 3pm. On arrival adults will be offered a complimentary mulled wine.

There is no charge and everyone is welcome.
