Roquefort is a blue, raw sheep’s milk cheese. The milk comes from the Lacuane, Manech and Basco-Bearnaise breed of sheep and is made in the Midi Pyrenees.
Our Roquefort is selected and matured by our French Affineur Herve Mons and is excellent served with a tomato salad, in a chicory and walnut salad or simply on its own with some Hungry Guest Walnut Bread. Do have a taster when you are next with us.
Traditionally it is paired with Sauternes but an Alsace Pinot Gris works well.
