Role description
- Ensuring stock is ready for service
- Help enforce strict health and hygiene standards
- Follow guidance of Head Chef and management
- Prepare ingredients where needed
Key Skills Required:
- Be a strong, energetic leader and deliver excellent food in the absence of the Head Chef
- Ability to work calmly when under pressure
- Animated to produce exceptional food
- Confident in generating new dishes for special or future menu changes
- Must be a team player and be able to work independently during service and preparation times
- Flexibility with regards to working hours
- Proficient with breakfast, lunch and occasional fine dining due to the variety and demands of the role
- Strong margin control knowledge and the ability to adapt to seasonal menu changes
