Everything you need for your
The festive season is fast approaching and we have everything you will need to celebrate in style.
We source our turkeys from Essex based Great Garnetts whose traditional bronze turkeys are reared in a free range environment to give them a succulent flavour. Delicious roasted and served with homemade Cowdray chipolatas and our honey glazed ham. The team on the butchery are on hand to help you with your Christmas order. Pick up an order form from the counter.
Our bakers in the Cowdray kitchen are busy making Christmas Cakes which you can either decorate yourself or pick up a pre-decorated cake covered in seasonal colourful dried fruit and nuts. Their Cowdray mince pies are legendary and this year we are adding to the mincemeat range with a lattice tart – delicious served warm with some Goodwood double cream.
Our Deli Counter stocks a variety of cheeses including seasonal favourites like the English blues, Stichelton and Colston Bassett and French cheese Comte.
Our living area is full of beautiful items to dress your Christmas table with as well as gifts for your friends, family and beloved pets and if it’s too hard to decide what to buy someone we sell gift vouchers which can be used in the Farm Shop, Café and Cowdray Express.
Christmas Trees will be on sale at the front of the shop from the week commencing 20th November. Our supplier, locally based Santa Fir, have won many awards including a special award for services to the British Christmas Tree Growing Industry. The Nordman Fir trees have a lovely shape and excellent needle retaining properties.
We will be hosting our annual Christmas Tasting Day on Saturday 2nd December 2016 between 10am and 3pm. The event is free of charge and everyone is welcome. Find out more
On arrival customers will receive a complimentary mulled wine before entering the courtyard in front of the shop where a range of suppliers will be sampling out their festive produce. Suppliers include Midhurst based Noble and Stace chocolatiers and Pulborough based Charlie’s Trout. Neal’s Yard Dairy will also be with us tasting out our favourite seasonal artisan cheeses. Our pastry chef Stefano will also be there, so be sure to visit him to try his baked goods.
We hope you can join us!
