Our bakery is filled with the smell of freshly baked produce. We make all of the cakes for our Farm Shop and Farm Shop Café in the Cowdray kitchens. Our chefs make a variety of cakes including some gluten free varieties. Cakes for special occasions can be ordered from the team.

Estate reared meat

In our award winning butchery all the lamb and the majority of our beef is reared on Cowdray land within a few miles of the Farm Shop.

Butcher sausages



Cowdray sausages are made on site using fresh seasonal herbs grown on the Estate without any preservatives.

Enjoy them as part of your Full English Breakfast in the Farm Shop Café or purchase some of our more exotic varieties like Merguez from the Butchers in the Farm Shop.

Cowdray Estate


Venison is available on the butcher’s counter. The deer on the Estate are naturally managed by Jason our Deer Manager. This meat is one of our most sustainable food sources. The forequarters are more likely to be used for burgers or the very popular venison sausages. All joints can be prepared to order from the butchery counter.

We work with Edgcumbes Coffee in Arundel who produce teas and coffees blended for Cowdray and Langham ales from Lodsworth brew our much loved Cowdray Ale.
