Many parts, one Estate, Cowdray’s Environmental Vision

At Cowdray, the environment is central to everything we do. As a family-owned Estate, the overriding objective has always been to build on the work of previous generations to fulfil Cowdray’s environmental vision. Our approach recognises that no single challenge stands alone from climate change and biodiversity decline to water quality and people’s connection with nature. Each issue is intricately connected to the next.

our Environmental charter

Holistic, Cowdray’s Environmental Vision

Our Environmental Charter sets out six key objectives with aims, benefits and examples of how we will play our part in achieving these goals. The objectives include carbon and air quality, water security and quality, waste and resources, biodiversity, climate resilience and engaging with the community as a force for good. The charter will adapt as our understanding of the issues evolves.
