We will be hosting our annual Christmas Tasting Day on Saturday 2nd December 2017 between 10am and 3pm.
The event is free of charge and everyone is welcome.
On arrival customers will receive a complimentary mulled wine before entering the courtyard in front of the shop where a range of suppliers will be showcasing their festive produce. Our own pastry chef Stefano (pictured) will be sampling seasonal products made in the Cowdray Farm Shop including mince pies, Christmas cakes and Mince Pie Latticed tarts. Our expert butchers will also be on hand to provide cooking advice and hand out taster samples of their delicious homemade chipolatas.
Other artisans on hand to offer advice include Midhurst based Noble and Stace chocolatiers and Pulborough based Charlie’s Trout. Neal’s Yard Dairy will also be there to guide you through how to create the perfect Christmas cheeseboard.
You can also pick up a range of beautiful yet practical gifts, Christmas wreaths made by Karen Watson of This Floral Life and Christmas Trees from local supplier, Santa Fir.
The Easebourne Primary School Choir will be performing and there will also be face painting available for children, and hot dogs provided by the Cowdray Café.
This promises to be a fun festive event.
