Christmas Tasting Weekend 2019

Farm Shop & Café

We will be hosting a Christmas Tasting Weekend on Saturday 30th November and Sunday 1st December 2019.

This event is free of charge, and everyone is welcome.

Saturday 30th November – 10am to 4pm
Sunday 1st December – 10am to 3pm

On arrival customers will receive a complimentary glass of mulled wine to enjoy while sampling food and drink from a range of suppliers who will be showcasing their festive produce. Our pastry chefs will be sampling seasonal products made in the Farm Shop including mince pies and Christmas cakes. Also from the kitchen, there will be honey roast ham and pigs in blankets to sample as well as a range of seasonal cheeses to try.

Over the weekend, customers can pick up a range of beautiful gifts from Cowdray Living as well as Christmas wreaths and Christmas trees. Verdley Flowers will also be doing wreath making demonstrations on both days.

Easebourne Primary School will be present on the Saturday morning singing carols and helping shoppers to pack their bags.

Bag packing by school children from 10am-12pm.
The choir will host two sessions of carols at 11am and again at 11.45am.

Raffle tickets will also be on sale with all proceeds going to Easebourne Primary School. The winning ticket will receive a Cowdray Hamper full of Christmas goodies worth £100. You can buy your tickets from the school in the week running up to the event or you may buy them at the event itself.
