Cross Country Run
The Cowdray 5k or 10k will start and finish at Cowdray Heritage – the impressive ruins of what was once a great Tudor House.
For the third year running Southern Multisports are working with us to delivery the Cowdray 5k and 10k run. The run takes place earlier in the year than usual on Thursday 31st May in the evening so we are hoping that the sun will be shining. Starting and finishing at the Cowdray Heritage Site, known locally as the ruins, two routes have been created so runners are able to experience the most picturesque parts of the beautiful estate.
There are two distances available – The 10k is now a single lap race. Canicross entries are welcome this year. (Canicross is the sport of running off-road with your dog).

Free parking (subject to availability) is available in the car park at Midhurst Rother College, North Street, Midhurst, West Sussex GU29 9DT. Parking will be available from 5.00pm. To get to the venue on foot from the car park: Turn right out of the main gates at Midhurst Rother college, walk past the South Downs National Park Building and cross at the pedestrian crossing. Make your way into the Chichester District Council Car Park (toilets are located here) and then access The Causeway through a wooden pedestrian gate. Walking time approx. 10 minutes.
Car parking is also available in the North Street Car Park GU29 9DJ. Parking is free after 5.00pm. Before 5.00pm it is free for the first hour then there is a small hourly charge thereafter. Walking time to race start approximately 5 minutes.
There are public conveniences available at the North Street Car Park as well as at the Visitor Centre at the Cowdray Heritage site.

Note: Entrants must be aged 16 or over.
