A visit to the Queen Elizabeth Oak and other veteran trees on the Cowdray Estate.
This tour will be led by Cowdray Head Forester, Richard Everett who will share his extensive knowledge of tree management on the Estate. The tour will be on the Estate’s trailer tractor and will include some walking. This is a free event which is part of the Heritage Open Days Festival. To buy a ticket please scroll to the bottom of this page and enter your details and bring a copy of your e-ticket on the day.
We suggest you wear sturdy footwear and bring waterproof clothing. It is also advisable to bring some water to drink as there will be no coffee stops on the tour.
There will also be no toilet stops on route. The toilet in the Cowdray Cafe can be used by customers at the start and end of the trip.

This tour is free of charge. If you would like to attend you must book a place and bring a copy of your e-ticket on the day. This tour is not suitable for children under the age of 14.
Due to the nature of these events dogs are not allowed with the exception of assistance dogs.
