Introduction to Mindfulness

Sandrine Cranswick will be hosting an introduction to Mindfulness in the Chapel at Cowdray Hall, on Tuesday 14th January  from 7pm to 9pm.

This introduction offers an opportunity to explore what mindfulness is and isn’t through short practices and discussions.  Mindfulness is a buzz word often misunderstood as ‘relaxation’ or ‘achieving a special state’.

Participants will learn about MBSR/MBCT courses and the benefits on our physical and mental wellbeing.

Handouts with further resources will be given at the end.

This introduction session is facilitated by Sandrine Cranswick, a trained and experienced mindfulness teacher with over 25 years of meditation practice. Sandrine is listed on the British Association for MBAs (
