Join us for an Understanding Talking Therapies Event.
One in four people will experience mental health problems. Talking therapies can help people improve their emotional wellbeing and resilience.
Would you like to know more about the availability of talking therapies for yourself, a loved one or a patient in the Midhurst area? Are you confused by the different types of therapies available and how different counsellors and therapists work to support their clients?
If the answer to either of these is yes, then this event is for you.
The newly refurbished therapy rooms at Cowdray is home to a range of talking therapists who support emotional wellbeing. At this event Cowdray’s practicing therapists will:
- Describe the different types of therapy
- Explain the different types of talking therapists
- Give a brief overview of what is available on the NHS
- Provide details on the types of therapy provided at Cowdray and the therapists’ areas of expertise.
Each therapist will give a brief presentation. There will be time afterwards to speak to any of the therapists individually and to ask any specific questions.
Refreshments will be provided.
Cowdray’s Talking Therapists are:
Dr Sarah Swan, Consultant Clinical Psychologist
Dr Liz Saunders, Cognitive Behavioural Therapist
