Five Day Art Workshop.
This course is exploring colour theory, composition and the dynamics of colour and tone relationships.
During the course, we will look at traditional colour theory, colour harmony and its relationship to musical structure through the use of harmonic triads and the major/minor scales.
Students will do a number of studies in oil exploration different colour harmonies incorporated into a classical 17th Century approach to underpainting and glazing.
David Cranswick is an M.A. and PhD tutor at the Princes School of Traditional Arts, as well as on their public programme. He lectures internationally on traditional painting methods and has been giving workshops in traditional painting materials and techniques for twenty five years. David is currently writing a book on traditional painting materials and techniques.
The cost for the 5 day workshop is £400 and includes materials. Places are limited to 10 students. Places are limited to 10 students.
