Farm Shop Refurbishment

Tenth Anniversary Refurbishment Complete

The Farm Shop reopened on Saturday 30th March after an extensive tenth anniversary upgrade with many customers already visiting the shop to see the improvements first-hand.

There is a new self-service coffee grinding area, offering a choice of six coffees, including a decaffeinated option for the coffee connoisseur. Loose leaf teas are also available and gravity bins are stocked with an impressive selection of organic nuts and seeds.  The popular customer operated orange juicer has also been reinstalled.

The Farm Shop is committed to reduce, reuse, recycle and has significantly reduced packaging and continues to stock local and seasonal products whenever possible. Customers are encouraged to supply their own containers in which to carry their chosen food stuffs from the self-service areas, as well as choose from the range of local, unwrapped fresh fruit, vegetables and bread. After eight bottles of Cowdray orange juice, customers are rewarded with a free bottle of juice.

There are new items on the shelves included Pished Fish, a Brighton based company with smoked salmon products infused with alcohol, and the recently launched Susana & Daughters Kefir produced at Cowdray is also available to purchase.

The Deli continues to stock an extensive selection of delicious cheese and the butchery is fully stocked with high quality meat including wild venison from the Estate.

We look forward to welcoming old friends back and meeting new ones too.
