Cowdray’s Maize Maze is back, this year with an exciting Wild West theme!
Set against stunning views over Lawns Polo fields towards Cowdray Ruins, the Maize Maze promises a fantastic summer day out for all ages. Enjoy exploring the maze, complete the stamp trail, and take in the scenery from our viewing bridge. You can also wander through our sunflower and wildflower picking patch to take a bunch home for yourself.
Delicious refreshments and hot food will be available from the Cowdray Maze Café.

Sip and Snip Evenings
Unwind at Cowdray’s Maize Maze as the sun sets. Take on the Maze, pick your own flowers, and enjoy a refreshing drink while listening to live acoustic music. Delicious, locally sourced food from The Yellow Kitchen will be available, making it the perfect way to end the week in a beautiful setting. A laid-back evening of wild flowers, great food, and live music.

The Harvest Hoe Down
Dust off your cowboy boots and get ready for a night of country music, dancing, and Wild West fun! One of the UK’s leading barn dance bands, The Honky Tonk Angels, will be playing all the country classics and guiding you through the steps to keep you dancing all night long.
Take on the rodeo bull and other Wild West-themed activities, all set against the stunning backdrop of Cowdray.

What to Expect
Maize Maze
At the start of the trail, young maze-goers are given our Maize Maze stamp sheet to complete as they weave their way through the train, collecting six stamps along the way as they learn about the Wild West!
Flower Picking Patch
Once you’ve completed the Maze visit our flower Picking Patch. Walk amongst the amazing giant sunflowers and glorious blue cornflowers whilst picking your own bunch to buy (£7.50) and take home to enjoy.
