Q: Can you tell us a little about your business and what sets you apart from your competitors?

A: Sophie Mills Bridal specialises in luxury bridal hair and makeup, with a signature focus on soft glam makeup and modern, effortless hairstyles that enhance a bride’s natural beauty.

I lead a team of talented artists and together we travel across the UK and internationally, creating calm, seamless wedding mornings for our brides. What truly sets us apart is the experience we provide — it’s not just about the hair and makeup, but about creating a calm, supportive atmosphere where brides feel confident, comfortable and truly themselves.

Q: What has been your favourite event you’ve been a part of at Cowdray House?

A: I’ve only had the pleasure of working at Cowdray House once so far, but it completely took my breath away. The house and grounds are absolutely stunning and such an incredible setting for a wedding.

The bride I worked with, Lucy, in September was an absolute dream. We created soft waves and a soft glam makeup look — very elegant, natural and timeless, which perfectly reflected her style.

The gentleman working there was incredibly attentive and even helped me with my bags on arrival. The bridal bathroom also has the most beautiful natural light, which is perfect for creating soft, glowing bridal makeup.

A: Cowdray House has such a beautiful atmosphere. The setting is breathtaking, but what really stands out is how well everything is run. The Cowdray team are incredibly professional and supportive, which makes such a difference for suppliers and ensures the whole day feels calm and seamless for the couple.

Q: What kinds of events would you love to do more of at Cowdray House?

A: Cowdray House is fairly local to me, so I would absolutely love to work there more often. The venue and surroundings align beautifully with my style — elegant, timeless weddings in a truly stunning setting —
