Welcome to the Cowdray Golf Academy where we provide coaching for all levels of golfers from complete beginners to the more experienced players. The academy offers something for everyone including Ladies’ Group Coaching, children’s coaching, private tuition and group lessons.
We are proud of our exceptional practice facilities here at Cowdray, offering members and visitors the ideal opportunity to fine tune their game. These include a 280 yard long driving range with covered bays. This also now includes our state of the art golf Studio which offers the perfect year round environment to improve. With the assistance of Trackman launch monitor technology, out team of Professionals can offer a fantastic coaching and custom fitting service. Added to this, our 5 hole Academy course, dedicated short game area and practice putting green means that all aspects of the game can be improved.

Matthew Watson, Head PGA Professional
Matt is our Head PGA Professional at Cowdray. He has broad experience coaching all levels of golfer, from complete beginners to advanced players. Matt is a certified Trackman coach and uses detailed video analysis for all sessions. On course lessons are also available; for all bookings with Matt please use the link below.

Harry Smith, Head of Golf Performance
Harry is our Head of Golf Performance with a holistic approach to golf coaching, combining technical skills with a focus on the physical aspects of the game. He believes that golf should be accessible to everyone, and with the right coaching, ability should never be a barrier to entry. Harry is passionate about helping golfers of all levels improve their game and enjoy the sport.

We have a team of PGA Professionals to teach newcomers and golfers of all abilities and ages. Lessons take place on our Golf Range, on the 5 hole par 3 course and out on the main course.

Junior Holiday Camps
Throughout the school holidays we run Junior Camps. Our Junior Coaching Camps are fun filled sessions consisting of games, coaching and a chance to play on the academy course, the range and the short game area.
Harry Smith, Head of Golf Performance runs the camps which last between three to four hours depending on group sizes. Food and refreshments are included in the costs of the day. Golf equipment is provided.
