Our Cheese of the Month for September is St Jude.
St Jude is a raw lactic set cows cheese made by Julie Cheyney on Fen Farm, north east Suffolk. The same farm as Baron Bigod. The cows are predominately Montbéliarde cows. A breed more commonly seen in the French Alps Comte region. Typically around 4 weeks in age profile the cheese is based on a French recipe adapted by this first generation British cheesemaker.Back to News
