The Cowdray Journal

Welcome to the Cowdray journal which chronicles life on the Estate throughout the year. The focus is on the people that work here and the diverse businesses and events that continue to bring visitors to this special part of West Sussex.

Articles include a look at Lawns View, Cowdray’s first own residential development which overlooks the Farm Shop & Café and is adjacent to historic parkland. There is also a feature on ‘Little Cowdray at Fernleigh’, detailing how Cowdray has expanded its business beyond the boundaries of the Estate with the opening of a new-concept farm shop, deli, butchery, and lifestyle destination in Chichester.

With plenty of summer activities, visitors can enjoy watching hundreds of polo matches and for the first time the British Ladies Open Championship will be held alongside the Cowdray Gold Cup Final. Opening in late July, the popular Maize Maze is back with this year’s theme of ‘Around the World in 80 Maze’.
