About Cowdray Hall
The intention of Cowdray Hall is to offer a non-denominational space to all members of our local community and to those from further afield. A place where you can come to step aside from the challenges of daily life, to take time out to deepen your connection with yourself, your community and the wider world.
Cowdray Hall offers a broad variety of emotional and spiritual workshops, retreats, events and weekly classes focusing on all areas of self-development.
There are three main rooms. The Chapel is a peaceful and intimate space with excellent acoustics, regularly used for yoga, Pilates, meditation and chanting. The Main Hall is a light and impressive room. The Meeting Room is a beautifully lit and carpeted room which includes audio visual equipment.

Mental Health Awareness Week 2022
This Mental Health Awareness week, we sat down with four people who practice at Cowdray Hall and Therapy Rooms to discuss differing approaches to improving your sense of wellbeing and the official theme of this year’s week, ‘loneliness.’
The Chapel is perfect for meditation, yoga, chanting and other activities. It has a wooden floor with windows along one side of the room making for a naturally lit, yet contained space with superb energy.
The Meeting Room
This room is carpeted and beautifully lit, with adjustable lighting. The in-built cinema provides a professional facility. This is an ideal space for workshops as well as yoga, pilates and other classes.
The Main Hall
The Hall is an impressive room with a polished wooden floor and a handsome, lofty wooden beamed ceiling.
A fully equipped kitchen is available for use by groups using any of the main rooms. It has a tea urn, cooker, dishwasher, crockery, cutlery and a limited amount of glasses as well as tables, chairs and tablecloths.
We regret that the Hall is not available for weddings, children's parties or private functions.
