Cowdray's Maize Maze

After the success of last summer’s event, the Maize Maze is returning this year with a theme of ‘Farming Through the Ages’. With stunning views over Lawns polo fields towards Cowdray Ruins, the Maize Maze is a fun summer day out for everyone.

15th August

Sunset Sunflower Yoga

Join us at the Cowdray Maize Maze for a Sunflower Sunset Yoga session, where we will be taken through a guided and mindful practice, enjoying the setting of the sun over the beautiful sunflower fields.

21st August

Fireside Feast

Come and join us for a Fireside Feast this August. Enjoy an exquisite two course meal in New Barn, one of Cowdray Estate's hidden gems nestled amongst the rolling hills of the South Downs.

26th August

The Maize Maze Run

Join us for our Maize Maze run, and enjoy the unique experience of running a 5km, 10km, or kids 3km, through the Cowdray Maize Maze and across the Cowdray Estate.

1st September

Marmalade MTB Bike Ride & BBQ

Embark on a guided bike ride across Cowdray Estate and the South Downs, exploring the most charming villages and exhilarating off-road trails, followed by a delicious BBQ at Cowdray Golf Club.

Step back in time at

Cowdray Heritage

Cowdray Heritage is one of England’s most important early Tudor houses. Visited by King Henry VIII and Queen Elizabeth I this impressive Tudor house was partially destroyed by fire in 1793. One tower remained intact and following a recent refurbishment is now a venue for art workshops, specialising in the Renaissance Period.
