Run the Seasons with Raw Running

Cowdray and Raw Running are excited to launch “Run The Seasons at Cowdray.” This new series of races will give runners a unique opportunity to explore our country Estate in West Sussex in each season. Runners can either choose a 5km, 10km, 10 mile route or canicross run. Why not enter the 10km run series for a chance to be crowned male or female series winners and be presented with a luxury hamper from Cowdray Farm Shop & Café? Overall winners are decided on a points system based on their finishing position with their lowest finishing positioning discounted if they run all four 10km races.

Autumn
10km and 10 miles
Our first ever Run The Seasons Race celebrated all things autumn and was held on the same day as our popular Apple Day at the Cowdray Farm Shop. The run took you up a gentle incline before turning back reveal the golden colours on the South Downs on a truly beautiful day.

Winter
5km and 10km
On our winter race, runners ventured through Parkland on a special night run with head torches, past the iconic Cowdray Ruins before crossing the finish line, and enjoying a festive mulled cider at the Cowdray Farm Shop & Café.

Spring
10km and 10 miles
The Spring race will take in the best parts of the Estate as it bursts back into life after winter with daffodils and tulips on this morning run at Cowdray.

Summer
5km and 10km
The Series will culminate on a summer's evening in June where the run will take you around the famous polo fields of Cowdray known as Lawns and out to Ambersham Common. Following the run there will be a presentation of prizes for the overall series winners, as well as a BBQ and bar to celebrate the end of the series.
