An English countryside film location like no other, Cowdray home to a rich variety of countryside landscapes, from the chalky downland to the greensand of Ambersham common. We also have a large number of private tracks and roads that can offer uninterrupted use throughout the daytime and night.
Cowdray Estate is home to a number of bridges, many of which are on private land and not open to the public.
The River Rother runs through the heart of Cowdray Estate, with approximately 3 miles of private riverbank. As well as this there are also a number streams, lakes and reservoirs.

The Deer Park at Benbow Pond is home to some of the countries oldest and largest historic trees. Once upon a time, Queen Elizabeth I sheltered under this tree on a visit to Midhurst. The tree is now over 1000 years old. A perfect historic English countryside film location.
