Every stay is unique, and every stay is tailored to suit you and your guests.

There are over 35 different activities and experiences to choose from. From sporting pursuits such as archery, clay pigeon shooting and foraging for wild food with the Estate’s forager to cocktail master classes. You name it, our events team can organise it. Even quirky experiences such as duck and sheep herding or axe throwing can be arranged! Or you may want to just enjoy the House’s indoor and outdoor pools, tennis court and bowling alley.

ACTIVE RELAXATION

Relax and unwind at Cowdray House. Play tennis on the court beside the large cedar tree, enjoy the tranquillity of the indoor pool, splash about in the outdoor swimming pool or partake in a competitive game of croquet. The full-size billiards table and ten pin bowling alley make for great indoor entertainment.

Archery on the front lawn, anyone? Or a private polo lesson on the House Ground in front of Cowdray House. Or perhaps a guided walk exploring the diverse landscape with the Estate’s forager? E-bikes can also be delivered to the door of Cowdray House and you can zoom off to explore the picturesque scenery...

Cowdray is recognised worldwide as the Home of British Polo with Cowdray Park Polo Club hosting over 500 matches from April to September. There are many other sporting pursuits on offer at Cowdray. These include a round of golf on Cowdray’s 18-hole Championship course, clay pigeon shooting, gundog training, fly-fishing and wildlife tours.
