Chanting is sung meditation and sung prayer. It stills the mind, opens the heart and feeds the soul.

Chanting mantras, which in the Hindu tradition, are called ‘Sacred words of Power’, helps to dissolve anxiety and negative thoughts, while strengthening the light in our hearts. Chanting and Toning radiate harmonising frequencies through our bodies and out into the world. It is a profoundly helpful practice for these turbulent times, for ourselves, our loved ones and the wider world.

Chanting can amplify your intentions, igniting your deepest heart’s desires. In the physical body, toning and chanting stimulate the vagus nerve – the main nerve in the mind/body complex, responsible for health and well-being. Chanting also aids in the gentle release of emotions. It softens our heart and allows us to express, through sound, that which is often unspoken. Our own voice holds both the emotional ‘wounds’ and the medicine for those wounds.

Caroline is a very experienced teacher, who has been holding chanting groups since 1999. Her style is warm and accessible. She loves to see people thrive and blossom into all they can be.

There is an African saying – ‘If you can walk, you can dance – if you can talk, you can sing!

No singing experience is necessary. Everyone is warmly welcome.
