Cowdray proudly partner with Nights On Us to show gratitude for ICU nurses…

Cowdray Estate are proud to announce their partnership with Nights on Us; an organisation created during lockdown.  Four travel industry professionals, were inspired to find 100,000 beds to thank ICU nurses for their work during the Covid-19 pandemic. Cowdray have pledged 24 two-night stays at the Estate holiday cottages, where guests will also enjoy a Cowdray Café meal or hamper and have the opportunity to relax or explore the South Downs National Park.   Rooms have been pledged the length and breadth of the country and will be ready to welcome the UK’s selfless ICU nurses once the health crisis is under control.  The Estate hope to encourage other members of the hospitality industry in the South Downs to unite and follow suit.

‘When we heard about Nights on Us and what they were trying to achieve, the initiative really resonated with us at Cowdray, Lord and Lady Cowdray wanted to show the Estate’s appreciation to the NHS staff who really have been caring for the worst effected coronavirus patients and putting their own health at risk to do so.  We have seen that pulling together as a nation can be very powerful and this initiative is based on those principles.  Nights on Us are ambitious in their plans and anything we can do to support this is something we are very proud to be part of.  We can’t wait to welcome these heroes, with so many varied activities on offer across the Estate, we feel we are incredibly fortunate be able to make their stay a memorable one.’  – Cowdray Estate’s CEO, Jonathan Russell.
