Flow in the Dark and Deep Relaxation Sound Journey

Pause. Recharge. Rebalance.

Find your light in the dark this January at this special candlelit evening of Yoga and Sound Therapy.

Allow yourself a moment to pause, to reconnect with your breath, to move your body and recharge your batteries ready for the new year ahead.

The evening will start with a Yoga Flow led by Mary followed by a short break for healthy nibbles and drinks. You will then be taken through a deep relaxation sound journey session with Jez Smith, an experienced historical musician and sound therapist.

Therapeutic sound can have a wide range of health benefits and also help to boost your immune system by making you feel more grounded, balanced and connected with yourself. You will be invited to lie down and rest on your mat and listen to the calming sounds of a variety of gongs, singing bowls and gentle percussion in a therapeutic sonic experience for relaxation and wellbeing.

For Yoga please bring:
A yoga mat
A water bottle
A blanket or some layers for a Savasana

For the therapeutic sound journey you will need:
A yoga mat
Pillow / something comfy to rest your head on
Blanket(s)
An eye covering
A water bottle

Please note:

The Sound Journey session is not normally suitable for people with seizures, epilepsy, heart conditions or early stages of pregnancy but frequently these conditions can be addressed on an individual basis and a solution found.
