One day Early Summer Yoga and Shamanic Retreat

We are so excited to be running our next One day Retreat at Cowdray!

In this beautiful centre we facilitate a safe, warm and welcoming retreat space which is a haven for those needing time to reflect. Our retreats offer space for spiritual growth and an opportunity for being more harmony with the natural vitality in and around us.
Its a time to just be you, and connect with your self in a very nurturing environment.

Laura ( 500hr Senior Yoga teacher) leads Seasonal Yoga which is a very gentle practice including postures, gentle flows and Qigong. Seasonal Yoga is inspired by ancient Chinese and Indian health systems. It is a gentle practice for all abilities, specifically designed to send energy flowing through the meridian lines (energy pathways of the body).

Nigel ( 200hr Yoga teacher and Shamanic practitioner) leads the shamanic workshops, Shamanism is all about working with nature and the seasons, utilising the energy field that pervades all things in a way that disregards linear time and seeks to regain information and insight! In Nigel’s workshops we can harnessing the ability to span time, to gain meaning to our spirits and heart’s purpose.

Your retreat will include:

Two Seasonal Yoga workshops including mindfulness, relaxation and meditation Guidelines with your personal practice Shamanic workshop Meditation and visualisation sessions Wellbeing tools for life A healthy and heart soup lunch

11.15: Shamanic workshop

12.30: Lunch

13.30: Seasonal Yoga Nidra (deep relaxation)

14.30: Walk to local woods

15.00: Seasonal Yoga and meditation ~ session 2

16.00: Shamanic journey

17.00: Grounding, chat, closing ceremony and refreshments before you leave

I have attended two retreats now, both have really shaped my outlook during quite a difficult time in my life. The environment is relaxing, warm and a true healing space. Laura and Nigel each provide great insight and guidance throughout your retreat. I loved learning how we can integrate shamanic practice into our lives. The Yoga sessions are well balanced with meditations and other mindful activities. I can’t wait to return again. Oh and the Soup is outstanding. You will not regret it!
