The Wim Hof Method – what is it?
The Wim Hof Method is a natural pathway to an optimised state of body and mind.
It harnesses the power of the natural elements our bodies already interface with, namely the air and the cold.
The Wim Hof Method trains our cardiovascular, nervous and immune systems to become more robust, provide energy and life force to every cell in our bodies and equip us to be better able to reduce stress and anxiety; enabling us to become healthy, happy and strong.
Almost all of us breathe inefficiently. Life is often lived in the fast lane and especially when we are stressed, we tend to forget to breathe deep into the lungs, increasing our stress levels and further losing out on the energy breathing correctly provides.
Only when you become aware of your breathing, will you be able to learn how to breathe properly and when you do your body will immediately feel energised and your mind will be calmer.
Gradual Cold Exposure
When heating systems were first developed in ancient Greece, cold baths were still thought to have carried health benefits. In the Wim Hof Method, the scientific studies show that gradual cold exposure is a vital force involved in building mental, emotional and physical resilience.
Practising safe cold exposure is challenging, but it yields enormous benefits to both mental and physical health.
Although the more subtle of the three pillars, mindset is particularly important and super-charges the breathing and cold exposure but brings with it other benefits.

The small print
Whilst we want as many people as possible to participate in Wim Hof Method activities, for health and safety reasons, it is not suitable for :
- those under 18yrs
- if you are pregnant
- suffer from epilepsy
- suffer from medicated high blood pressure or coronary heart disease (or other heart issues)
- have a history of serious health issues (such as stroke or heart failure)
- have Raynaud’s Type 2
- suffer from migraines (although this is a personal choice as the cold water can set off an episode)
If you have specific health concerns, please contact a medical practitioner for written advice before making your booking. A health declaration will be required before participation.
Tickets prices are £150 per person, including drinks and snacks available throughout the event. By purchasing your ticket, you are consenting to your name and email address being shared with Vitae Vi before the event for completion of your health declaration form and waiver. If for any reason Vitae Vi find that you are not able to participate, a full refund will be provided.
