‘Have a go at polo’ with Cowdray Polo Academy.
The Cowdray Marketing department along with British Farming and Lifestyle Blogger, Girl About the Farm and Matt Sim from Cowdray Park Polo Club took to the polo field at Madams Farm last week. With the expert tuition from Guy Verdon at Cowdray Polo Academy the group learnt how to swing, stick and ball, turn with your body and ride “polo style”. Marketing Manager, Sally Blackburn, had not sat on a horse since she was six years old and quickly picked up the basics showing that this sport really can be enjoyed by the complete novice through to the more experienced riders wishing to try something new.

There are many polo matches taking place throughout the season at Cowdray, The King Power Gold Cup matches start Tuesday 26th June and some fast paced game dates for your diary that are certainly worth noting are; the All Star 40-goal match this Saturday 23rd June with the first game starting at 4:30pm.
The Midhurst Town Cup on Sunday 1st July – entry is £5 on the gate.
The King Power Gold Cup Semi Finals on Wednesday 18th July.
The King Power Gold Cup Final on Sunday 22nd July.
