The Recipe

With Shrove Tuesday just around the corner, try this flipping marvellous sweet pancake recipe with chocolate spread, bananas and strawberries from Farm Shop Head Chef Ben Jupp will be sure to please anyone with a sweet tooth.

  • 130g plain flour
  • 3 medium sized eggs
  • 160ml milk
  • Olive oil
  • Chocolate spread
  • 2 bananas, sliced.
  • Cowdray granola
  • 1 punnet of strawberries, sliced


  1. Add the flour, eggs and milk to a bowl and whisk thoroughly until smooth.
  2. Add a small ladle of the batter to the pan whilst tilting to spread the pancake evenly.
  3. After approx. 90 seconds, flip the pancake to cook the other side. Your pancakes should be lightly golden on both sides.
  4. Lay out your pancakes and evenly cover with chocolate spread, leaving an inch all the way around the outside.
  5. Sprinkle a handful of granola over the top and add banana slices and strawberry slices to the middle.
  6. Roll up your pancake tucking in the sides as you go, creating a pancake burrito.
