Be Calm: Mindfulness Meditation and A Sound Bath

Cowdray Hall

  • This event has passed.

Sandrine and Claire have designed a monthly event providing a practice of positive, mindfulness tools followed by a relaxing sound bath to transform and improve your mental health and well-being.

Sandrine is an experienced mindfulness teacher with 27 years of meditation practice. Sandrine will guide you through some evidence-based mindfulness tools that will improve your mental and physical wellbeing. The practice is based on ancient approaches adapted to the western world and aim to help the mainstream people to deal with their mind, emotions, situations and challenges with more ease and skills.

Claire trained with the Sound Healing Academy and uses a wide range of sounds to facilitate relaxation, release and transformation. She plays Himalayan bowls, Crystal bowls, Gongs, Chimes, Tongue drum, Remo drum and Rain sticks to create your soundscape journey. Claire has been in the complementary health care for 30 years, being an Iyengar yoga teacher and a Shiatsu practitioner.

To attend, you must fill in a ‘Be Calm’ booking form on Claires website. Please email Claire or Sandrine for payment info. Due to the nature of sound waves penetrating the many layers of our being, this event is NOT suitable for those with sound-induced epilepsy, severe mental illness, recent trauma, or in their 1st trimester.
