Chanting is sung meditation. It stills the mind, opens the heart and feeds the soul.
As Christmas approaches and world events appear to grow darker, so we need to strengthen our own inner light. Chanting mantras, which in the Hindu tradition, are called ‘Sacred words of Power’, helps to dissolve fear and negative thoughts and feelings, while strengthening our hearts and our faith in the power of Love. Chant sends harmonising vibrations through our own bodies and out into the world. It is a profoundly helpful practice for these troubled times.
Chant is multi directional and multi dimensional. It amplifies your intentions, whether they be for greater alignment with your own soul, for healing and abundance for yourself and your loved ones, or for World Peace, and all 3 together! On a more physical level, toning and chanting stimulate the vagus nerve – a major nerve in the mind/body complex, responsible for health and well-being. Chanting also aids in the gentle release of emotions. It softens the heart and allows us to express, through singing, that which is often unspoken in our hearts.
Caroline is a very experienced teacher, who has been holding chanting groups since 1999. Her style is warm and accessible. She loves to see people thrive and blossom into all they can be. No singing experience is necessary.
